Utah is Experiencing Unseasonably low Temperatures and Snow with More Expected
A cold front has swept through Utah, causing temperatures Saturday to fall 10F below seasonal norms due to a winter weather system.
Meteorologist Jill Margetts predicts statewide highs for Nov. 16 that are more typical of early December.
Salt Lake City’s high is expected to be 41F, while Ogden’s is 42F, Logan’s 38F, Park City’s 33F, Provo’s 40F, Cedar City’s 42F, and Saint George’s 54F.

Earlier this week, National Weather Service officials said there was a possibility of snow showers tapering off in the northern Utah valleys by late morning on Saturday, and in the mountains by the afternoon.
Margetts, however, warned that it would be difficult to drive on the roads in the mountains throughout the day due to winter driving conditions.
After Sunday, the weather should dampen before the next storm arrives on Monday.
After that storm moves in, snow showers will increase in the area from Logan further southward into Utah County by 1 p.m. Tuesday.
