Snow is Expected for Wednesday’s Pinpoint Weather Alert Day in Denver

Mostly cloudy skies and mild temperatures are forecast for Denver and the Front Range on Tuesday.
A winter storm warning remains in effect through Wednesday night for the mountains due to snow showers.

Rain and Snow Showers are Forecast for Tonight
The Front Range is expected to see rain and snow Tuesday, starting around midnight, but the storm will hit hard early Wednesday.
Lows in the low 30s overnight mean that it is likely to be a wet and heavy snowfall.
The weather alert day was activated due to the possibility of slick spots through Wednesday morning.

Wednesday will be Snowy, Then it Will be Dry and Mild
Throughout Wednesday’s first half, snow showers will remain around the metro, with high temperatures in the upper 30s.
Wednesday afternoon will mark the start of the exit of the system, with clear skies expected overnight.
Travel could be affected on Wednesday by slick spots along the Front Range and heavy snow in the mountains.
Mountains are expected to receive a higher snowfall total, which is great news for ski resorts. Taking into account Tuesday morning’s totals, here are the estimated totals.
As Thanksgiving approaches, skies will be filled with sunshine, but it will still be cold with highs in the upper 30s.
In the afternoon, a few clouds will sweep through, causing temperatures to stay below average on Friday.
Mostly sunny skies and lows in the lower 40s mark Saturday’s start to the weekend.
With plenty of sunshine, Sunday is unlikely to be any warmer than Saturday. Highs will remain in the middle 40s.
Sunlight and a high near 50 degrees are forecast for Monday’s Broncos game.
