Blustery & Bright Today! Two Storm systems are in the Forecast this Week

Blustery & Bright Today Hold onto your hats today because the wind is sticking around! It will be sunny and warm, but there will be gusts of wind up to 35 mph from the NW/W at times.

As a result, highs in the upper 40s and low 50s will feel a bit cooler. You can enjoy any outdoor activities – just be sure to wear warm clothing.

On Tuesday, we’re still watching for rain, and on Thanksgiving & Black Friday we’re watching for a storm that may bring both rain AND snow (it all depends on how warm the temperature gets and how it tracks). Keep an eye out!

In windy weather, layering is your best friend. Layer on thermal base layers, sweaters, and fleece, then top with wind-resistant jackets.

Skin can be damaged by windy days. You can prevent dryness by using a moisturizing lotion and shield your face with a scarf.

Stay alert as you venture outdoors to avoid flying debris and to secure loose items. It is sometimes difficult to predict how windy conditions will turn out.

On Monday, winds will be lighter and clouds will be scattered, bringing a break from the gusts. It will be a much nicer day, with highs in the low- to mid-50s.

In the morning, there is rain, but it clears by late afternoon. Keep your umbrella handy, but don’t forget to prepare for some sunshine before the day’s end.

Do you plan to travel during the holidays? On Wednesday, we should enjoy mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid-to-upper 40s. The perfect travel companion!

There is a possibility of a rain and snow mix for Thanksgiving Day

On Thanksgiving Day, clouds might build up and lead to rain in the afternoon, possibly mixed with snow in northern areas. There will be highs in the mid-40s and upper 40s.

Black Friday shoppers, be careful! In colder regions, there is a possibility of morning rain and snow due to a possible storm. Dress in layers as highs will remain in the low-to-mid 40’s.

Saturday’s highs are expected to drop to the upper 30s and low 40s. Windy conditions will return, so prepare yourself for chilly temperatures.

Sunday will be sunny and cloudy with highs in the low 40s. Today is a quiet and pleasant day for outdoor activities, despite the chilly weather.

Check local weather reports using apps, websites, or your favorite TV channel regularly to remain informed.

If you want to know when rain, snow, or wind warnings are coming, enable your phone to receive real-time notifications.

Flexibility is the key! Fall and early winter are unpredictable seasons, so be prepared to deal with last-minute changes.

Whether it’s sunny skies and strong winds or the possibility of rain and snow later this week, the weather has been keeping us on our toes.

You’ll feel much better if you’re prepared and updated regardless of whether you’re going on Thanksgiving plans or just having a quiet day outdoors.
